Welcome! I love spending my days with words! And I love helping people get their writing ready to go out into the world. In my editing, I get to live many lives. Knowing that I’ve been part of poetry collections, scholarship, and engineering reports and training out in the world is deeply gratifying. Moreover, I’m delighted to be able to put this talent I have for noticing the errors and inconsistencies in everything to good use! To see the kinds of editing I do most often, see below.

I also developmental-edit mind-body-spirit manuscripts, focusing on big-picture issues such as audience, purpose, and arrangement. Here, I pay attention to and comment on both the pieces and the whole those pieces create. I have also worked with writers in process, passing chapters back and forth. Each developmental editing project is different, so contact me and we can talk about your needs!

I can also proofread reports and web content for those pesky errors that are so hard to find when you’re the writer! I’m a good last set of eyes! I see errors everywhere (except in my own writing, of course, because even editors need editors).
